Social Snapshot: An Optimistic October

October has almost come to an end and with Halloween and Bonfire Night on the horizon, its starting to feel distinctly autumnal. While the outdoors is getting more chilly, we’ve loved seeing how stylish customers have been refreshing their homes on Instagram. These three reels are some of our favourites so make a cuppa, get comfy and enjoy our October social snapshot!

Throughout October we’ve seen some really lovely renovation projects while scrolling through Instagram but we’ve managed to pick three to present to you today. From cosy thermal lined Roman blinds and curtains to chic wooden blinds, this month’s showcase is filled with excellent interior design inspiration!
A chic bathroom
Our first piece of chic content is an elegant bathroom by @thefaffingnest. When thinking about bathroom windows, we almost instantly start thinking about moisture proof roller blinds to combat the excess moisture but @thefaffingnest has demonstrated how practical and stylish faux wooden blinds are in bathrooms.

A homely home office
This month’s second post is part of a remarkable stable conversion by the talented @myenglishcountrycottage. For many years, this lovely rustic space had had to tolerate old grain sacks press-ganged into makeshift window furnishings but now it basks in the beauty of quality Roman blinds and curtains!
The very DNA of this conversion speaks to rustic charm and country chic, and as a home working space, it’s very important that it’s both stylish and functional. One of the most obvious elements of note are the rich curtains covering the door. Suspended from an elegant black curtain pole, these curtains feature a thermal lining which reduces heat loss and in turn saves money on energy bills.

What’s more, the careful use of potted plants and the lovely lamp stand continues the green theme adding depth to the space.
