These extra skills and man hours mean that your made to measure blinds may be more expensive than their readymade counterparts. The price of made to measure blinds varies. You will pay a different amount depending on the style, size and finish of your blind, as well as the retailer you are shopping with. As a rough guide, a made to measure wooden blind may cost anything from £12.00 to £300.00 depending on your measurements, and you can expect to pay around 20% less for faux wooden blinds. Made to measure roller blinds tend to be the cheapest option, whereas Roman blinds are a more luxurious choice. Modern solutions, like Day and Night and Perfect Fit blinds, are also more of an investment, starting from around £20.00 and £50.00, respectively.
When it comes to purchasing made to measure blinds, be sure to do your research and shop with a manufacturer that’s known for its quality and customer service (the cheapest isn’t always the best option!)
How do you choose made to measure blinds?
When you’re hunting for a new made to measure blind, you need to consider a few things. Since your new blinds are to measure, there should be no need for alterations. However, if you do choose to adjust your wooden blinds or faux wooden blinds, you can use a hacksaw to carefully cut the louvres and/or pelmet.
